- Make sure that you clean the pierced site with the help of a cotton swab soaked in saline water during shower.
- Place the cotton on the pierced site at least for 5 minutes and then rinse the area with clean water.
- With the help of soaked cotton in saline water remove the crust formed in and around the area.
- It is very important to clean the jewelry as the crust formed may turn hard causing damage to the tissue while removing the jewelry.
- It may also cause swelling and pain while removing the jewelry.
- Apply 2 drops of lavender oil every day on the pierced site and allow it to stay on the area at least for 5 minutes as it helps in promoting the speed healing.
- Avoid changing, replacing or turning of the jewelry at least for 3 to 4 weeks after the procedure.
- Consult the piercer if you want to change or remove the jewelry.
